To prevent customers from being bored with queuing, Auchan added a fun quest, which not everyone can deal with.
Last year, terminals operating on the principle of a cash register appeared in some regions in Auchan. First, you punch through everything at the cashier, receive a check with a QR code, and on this check you pay for the purchase in the terminal in cash or by card. You also need to remember to take a check with a barcode to open the gate at the exit, otherwise they will not be released.

do not recognize QR code. But if this is suddenly technically impossible, we will draw a similar instruction near the scanner at the output. Possibly even signed for clarity on a beginner
In some stores, instead of the first QR code, they give a regular check with a barcode, which, however, will also not work on the scanner at the exit and will create even more confusion with the external identity with the second check.
All of the above was done by a curious designer who will be very glad to any criticism, and under the impression of the hurrying queue standing behind, and the woman at the terminal nearby, who showed me at the scanner, which from the height of my eyes was completely covered by the basket for change.
