I will show you the shortest and simplest process of marking the balances in your Honest Mark personal account.

We register trademarks (nomenclature names) that you are going to label
Remember that each owner labels his unmarked cigarette remains as of 01.07.
The first thing to do is create a residue description document.
We select the type of product (TNVED code). 2402 for cigarettes.
We go to the next step and indicate the information about the product.
Please note that the name of cigarettes must be indicated without (Maximum Retail Price) and in strict accordance with the declaration of conformity.
You can add several products at once.
Upon completion of adding the name of the nomenclature and trademark, it is required to sign a document describing the residues.
After successful processing of the document in CRPT (Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies), you can proceed to the direct order of marking codes.
For all the products you have declared, the CRPT will assign new GTIN codes starting with 02. We will use these product codes when ordering marking codes in the following paragraphs of our instructions.
The list of items and the product code (GTIN) can be viewed in the "national catalog".
Depositing money to order marking codes
The CRPT issues marking codes for a fee: 50 kopecks for each code + 20% VAT.
Therefore, take care of preliminary replenishment of your personal account with Honest Sign.
Receiving an invoice for payment is carried out through the organization's profile.
The profile shows the current balance of funds on the personal account, and you can also go to account management. Remember that the balance on the personal account does not always show the actual data.
Through the menu "..." you can order an account to replenish your personal account. They hid, they say.
After receipt of funds, you can proceed to order marking codes.
Ordering the marking codes themselves for residues
Go to the order management station.
Create a new active order of marking codes.
We select in the item "Production data" - "Marking of residues"
When you select this item, the list of fields for filling is greatly reduced.
Fill in all the fields.
The field “product code” indicates the code (GTIN) given to you by the CRPT when describing the residues in the national catalog (see above).
In the field "CM quantity" the ordered quantity of marking codes is indicated. You can order no more than 30,000 codes at a time. If you need more, you will have to split the order.
MRC is indicated in kopecks. For alternative tobacco products, the MRC is indicated equal to 0.
Do not forget to check for which unit of measurement you are ordering the marking codes (PACK or BLOCK).
You can add several products to one order at once, as long as they have different product codes.
After saving, the order will be sent for processing to the CRPT and, upon successful completion of processing, the order status will change to "Available".
This is clearly seen in the active orders log.
To download the codes, go to the order and go to the "Products" tab.
Click on the button for receiving codes.
You will be offered a choice of one of three ways to obtain marking codes:
- get in the form of ready-made PDF according to a template with already created datamatrix codes.
- get in the form of ready-made EPS using a template with already created datamatrix codes (for some types of label printers).
- get it as a text file with codes, to print the codes on your software or send to external companies for printing.
It remains to indicate the number of marking codes that you want to apply to the goods and click "Print".
BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING METHOD AND NUMBER OF CODES. It will be problematic to change later.
You will be prompted to save the file.
Ensure the safety of your downloaded files. It is possible to download a duplicate file only before the order is closed.
In the order journal, you can track how the coding codes from each order are spent.
When the process of marking the residues is finished or all the codes from the order have been spent, you need to close the order, and the marking codes from this order will go into circulation in the GIS MT.
If some of the codes have not been used from the order, then when the order is closed, the unused codes will be canceled.
Features and problem areas
On the Honest Sign website, the function of ordering codes is available for both packs and blocks of cigarettes.

At present, aggregation of batches into blocks for marked residues is not available. Or rather, it is available, but does not work. We asked a question about this in the CRPT, the official answer is:

It is understood that the labeling of residues is made for retail sale. And the further process of labeling the product depends on the agreement with distributors and retail chains.
There are several popular scenarios:
1. Send the product to the customer along with a text file (csv or txt) with a list of marking codes. Let the retail chain print out the labeling codes and apply them to the products.
This method is popular with buyers who have not resolved the issue of disposing of cigarettes through scanning the marking (lack of online cash register or other). The list with codes can be used directly - to withdraw cigarettes from circulation through EDO Lite.
2. Print the marking codes on paper or, upon agreement with the buyer, send the prepared PDF file to the client for self-printing.
Codes can be printed in any shape and size (with the required number of marking codes on one A4 sheet).
It is possible to purchase A5 paper and adjust the size of the mark so that one sheet contains only 10 pack marking codes. Each A5 sheet is one pack of cigarettes.
With this approach, during the actual shipment to the buyer, printed sheets with the required number of marking codes are placed in the boxes with the goods (1 box = 500 marking codes for packs = 50 cigarette blocks = 50 A5 sheets).
3. Print the marking codes on self-adhesive A4 paper. Requires software to fine-tune the layout of the coding codes on the sheet from a template.
4. Printing on thermal labels. If you do not have thermal transfer printing equipment, you can contact a third party for such a service. When choosing a label, find out the warranty period for the safety of the image on it.
The resolution does not clarify how to apply the label with the marking: on the cellophane packaging of packs or blocks.
Do I need to open the unit's original packaging to get to the packs?
Do I need to open the cellophane packaging of the pack?
There are no definite answers.
We believe that it is possible to glue the marking directly onto the cellophane factory packaging of the block. The seller in the store, when selling a pack, will be able to scan the marking directly from the block.
If you decide to open the package of the block and glue the labels with marking directly on the packs, then remember - you cannot glue the excise stamp, MRC, date of production, manufacturer, image with a warning about the dangers of smoking.
