Mini microscope. For what, why and why?

Good day, dear science lovers!

On this wonderful day, there will be not an ordinary post, but a post - a microscope review. But not an ordinary microscope, but a traveling mini-microscope.

Intrigued? Then let's get started!

Attention! A warning!

The post contains photographs of micropreparations, some of which can offend the aesthetic feelings and cause an attack of tripo and trichophobia: insects, algae and mold. I also apologize in advance for the jackal quality of photographs and oblique focus - photographing something even through the eyepieces of a normal microscope is very problematic. Warning has been made, we can continue)

A pocket microscope Micro from the manufacturer Xialong group limited was purchased in Bukvoed on Nevsky Prospekt ( St. Petersburg ) quite by accident - during a hike for a gift edition of a book. The price of a microscope for less than half a thousand certainly attracts attention. Especially considering that even the weakest children's microscope costs at least 5k (with plastic lenses, oga).

The box is about 10 cm long on the long side. Quite weighty, as if it was half filled with iron clips. Nothing rings or dangles inside. The magnification is honestly indicated on the box - 60x. Not enough, of course, but we'll see. Also tips on the possible use of this miracle.

Inside there is a small but detailed instruction and a case made of soft leatherette. It would seem that protection is not so hot, but, I'll tell you a secret, he survived the fall on the concrete floor without receiving a scratch. And here is the mini-microscope itself.
