In medicine, there is no single intervention with a 100% success rate. Biosystems are always a matter of risks, some chaos, working with insufficient information and the hope that the patient's body will cope. Yes, correct diagnosis, choice of method and its implementation can reduce the risks by orders of magnitude, but there is always some possibility that something will go wrong.
For me, as the head physician of a network of clinics, the main question is how our doctors deal with these risks and complications and how they plan interventions in the form of scenarios, what can go wrong at every step.
