Recently, we have released several major software updates, which both fixed some flaws and expanded the functionality of the device.
In general, today, the thermostat has all the variety of functionality that we wanted to implement in it. Of course, there will be a few more innovations, the addition of a more advanced schedule; but the controller installed in the thermostat has exhausted itself. We must move on.
For the past few months, our team has been developing a new device. A device that will not be just a thermostat. It will retain the best of its predecessor. But besides this, it will be a connecting link, which, we hope, will allow everyone to join smart homes. Those who are interested; but, from a distance, the topic of smart homes seems to them to be a “dark forest”.
Let me introduce you, the Climate and Light Control Panel.
By tradition, let's start with the filling. As before, the Panel consists of two boards.
Top board
We decided to choose the “popular” esp32 microcontroller. Two cores, BLE, a memory car for our tasks. What more could you ask for?
ESP32 is good, but what's a smart home without ZigBee? The layout of the board allows, and we took full advantage of this by installing the NJ5169 (E75) module.

According to our idea, such a panel is intended primarily as a small hub display meter for a room. Collect the main devices in one place and manage all.
