Optimization tasks to reduce the cost of energy storage in electrical networks

Thanks to the development of lithium-ion batteries in Russia, a new solution for electric grids has appeared - an electrical energy storage system (SNE or SNEE, hereinafter referred to as a storage device). This solution is so new and unusual for networks that behind each actually installed drive there is a solution to many non-trivial tasks. The key to the economic efficiency of using drives is finding and solving optimization problems. In this article, I will talk about solving problems that helped reduce the cost of drives for three main uses today.
