While you're all dreaming about bugs-free cyberpunk, I'm playing a divine open-world game with limitless possibilities. Here I wrote you a review.
I'll start with the main thing - the graphon is great. In some locations, it's just a dump of the head, just getting there, to put it mildly, is not easy. To speed up the change of cities, the developers made a plazkart patch. Loading a level can go for a week, enrages. But you can also get high from the loading screen, the views there are worked out for the top five. On the highs, you can speed up the loading of the level if you use the samolet perk, but it also costs decent credits.
The game does not really have a storyline, the world is open, you can wander around the locations for hours. And the developers promised that this game has the largest open world ever. Well, for 30 levels I have not visited all the levels, so it looks like they were not deceived. And sometimes patches with new locations come out, in 2014 they released the whole Crimea peninsula and are about to promise Donetzk (while the alpha version is available, the atmosphere there is just fire, I recommend it).
The aesthetics of the world are post-apocalyptic, especially felt in small towns. Ruins, broken roads, debris, mud, everything is filled with abandoned cars. A lot of details and cool solutions. The climate also adds cool mechanics, from rain to snow, my top is the icy sidewalk. The atmosphere of unfriendliness and aggression pushes you to squeeze your Kalashnikov tighter. Unfortunately, for most professionals, you can go to GULAG for several years.
The world is rather unfriendly, gloomy and depressing. NPCs are often out of balance between aggression / intelligence. Anywhere you can easily be stopped, robbed, deceived and even killed. Therefore, I do not recommend shining with credits, expensive loot, and in general it is better to be as wary and distrustful as possible. Yes, you shouldn't smile either, you can attract the attention of the POLIZIA unit. It is better to bypass them, if the charisma is pumped, you can get off with loot or credits, at worst - damage with a bottle and GULAG.
The game mechanics training is well developed, but highly dependent on luck and the starting location. Up to lvl 17 you need to pass Shkola and the ease depends on the chosen prof. Download intelligence, you will not go wrong. Then there is complete freedom. I do not recommend the Armia branch, you will go faster, but there is a non-illusory probability of ending up as a gamer. (But the secret location Damask opens).
The cars are cool, especially at the Moskva level. But at the beginning of the game, you will have to farm for a long time even with the most basic Zhiguli. In principle, moving without a car is often quite difficult, long and unsafe. With a wheelbarrow, there is a high chance of starting the game again, especially when moving between cities (there are no saves). Plus, fighting games at traffic lights are also cool. In short, the developers are very confused with this mechanic, respect. By the way, on Nightmare difficulty (you play as a wheelchair user) the mechanics are about three times more complicated.
There are a lot of development branches - you can swing the Persian in any direction - designer, dancer, heal, silovik - thousands of branches. But only a few get above lvl 80. And there the gameplay changes dramatically.
Dangers await at every corner, the game keeps you in suspense all the time. From the basic crew, I can recommend, firstly, headphones, without them you will be overwhelmed with the noise of cars, shouts and loud annoying advertisements, you can even get damage. The second basic thing is pepper spray: inexpensive, legal, effective. Keep it ready.
I am still playing and do not fully understand the purpose of the game, it seems that if I managed to break free and leave, then win. There is an additional difficulty - achievements DOLGI, NALOGI and ALIMENTY - with them the victory in the game becomes much more difficult.
And the coolest feature of the game is that the rules often change during the game. A simple example - your accumulated loans can easily be unexpectedly zeroed and sometimes it is better to buy all the money.
