In May, the participants of the second stream of the Privacy Accelerator program met and pre-presented their projects, worked offline with mentors and their comrades from other cities, and also discussed new challenges in the field of privacy and access to information together with experts. They heard constructive criticism from the experts present and from each other. Roskomsvoboda found out from the mentors and the teams themselves how they evaluate the progress of projects during the accelerator period.
Privacy Accelerator 2: we are just at the beginning of the road
The second Privacy Accelerator pack launched on April 1st. It is an online program for the intensive development of projects in the field of anonymity, privacy, access to information and freedom of speech, as well as legaltech. It is supported by Information Culture, Habrom, Qrator Labs and ProtonMail. For a month and a half, the participants worked with mentors and mentors and presented their projects at Accelerator Offline Day in mid-May.
If the first accelerator went online completely due to the pandemic, now the organizers have added elements of offline work, and the meeting that took place is one of them. In addition, each team has its own mentor - a professional in the field of privacy and cybersecurity.
