Introduction
Hello, Habr. I recently received an offer from Yandex in one day and, I will not hide, I am very happy about it. Therefore, I wanted to share with the community my experience and thoughts regarding the One Day Offer from Yandex (hereinafter ALC).
To begin with, the name of this event fully describes its essence. In one day, you go through two interviews and several finals (we'll talk about them later), and on the same day, if you've coped with everything, you get an offer. Sounds good, but is it really so? It turned out that yes, everything happens that way. No waiting for several months and no uncertainty about the number of interviews. Everything is really happening so fast, which I think is very cool.
What is it
One Day Offer is a relatively young event. Yandex actively began to conduct it only in the spring of this year, so it is only gaining momentum, but it is already clear that the format will live and flourish. ODO is carried out in one of the key areas: front, back, mobile or analytics. In addition to the main goal of finding new personnel, ALC also serves as proof that you can get to Yandex in just a day.
Personally, I participated in ALC for mobile operators, so I will talk about the experience of participation from the point of view of a mobile operator :)
Contest
In fact, in order to get to the ALC, you first need to successfully pass a simple contest. There is plenty of time for it: from the moment of registration for the ALC until the day when the interviews will be held.
