Spring Karabash

We continue to explore Russian cities. This time we will look at Karabash at another time of the year - in the spring. Last time we talked about the winter Karabash , about the city's approach to the creation of new infrastructure facilities (here we are talking about a strategy based on the study of the preferences and desires of young people - schoolchildren and students), we mentioned salaries and entertainment available in winter.

What happens in the spring? How can you solve the problems that come up at this time of year? What does nature look like around? How has the city changed over the past few years?

Positive changes

It is interesting to look at the changes that are taking place in cities in comparison. In world practice, there is redevelopment - the reuse of objects of the "rusty belt". But there is another option - the elimination of unnecessary objects. So, in Barcelona, some buildings began to be used, and the old train station and fish market were simply removed.

In the case of Karabash, where there is no tourism at this level, and which is a city with a city-forming enterprise, changes are taking place in terms of eliminating old objects and building new ones, or overhauling old ones and turning them into modern comfortable institutions.

Here are some shots that show how the changes take place.

Urban problems are solved using two main platforms, one of which operates throughout the Chelyabinsk region, and the second is designed specifically for the city. The principle of "transparency" is applied here: the complaints will be visible to everyone, and officials cannot fail to resolve them, as in other places with such platforms.
