I like to read. Even YouTube couldn't beat my love of lyrics. Even podcasts have not been able to win over to their side, even though they have cookies. No media content in the world can replace reading. When the Internet appeared in my life, I read everything I could reach: from Bashorg to Lenta, from Kommersant and RBC to LiveJournal. A little later, large and high-quality resources appeared, among which was Habr. When I first saw him, he was about three years old and already looked like the one we see today. At that time I was just approaching IT and Habr was not the Internet publication with which I started my morning. Projects died, stalled, familiar sites died out, LJ was bent ... and Habr lived. He changed and grew as if the team is full of ideas and sees the market for a hundred years ahead. Gradually, Habr became the site that I open first,as soon as I open my eyes and reach for the phone. Weather, news, covid reports - everything is only after him. Habr became dear - and for me he is always the same.
So, why am I doing this? Oh yes. Habr, you are 15 years old today.
This is not my first account (may the UFO forgive me my alter ego), I have been on Habré for more than 10 years and have literally gone through all the hypostases: I am a reader, I am an author, I am a member of the PAP, I twice went through a sandbox, I was a partisan and editor of a couple corporate blogs of their employers. I grew up with Habr and noticed his every change. I read the comments and wrote them, came out of battles with shabby karma, did not sleep at night, answering criticism of my companies and questions to them. As you understand, I love Habr and I have seven reasons for this. Perhaps some of them will seem paradoxical to you.

It is far from uncommon to get a job or a part-time job after an article on Habré, make your blog a highlight of your resume and portfolio, and become a corporate blog editor in your company. Habr is not just an IT resource and a tech blog, but also a serious tool for finding employees and facilitating career advancement. Isn't this the main thing?
Habr, you are 15 years old today. I wish you professional users and curious newbies, cool finds, interesting publications, in an amicable way evil and competent commentators, a loyal reliable team. Always be on the cutting edge. I'll always be with you.
