The web is filled with pictures and cartoons about Elon Musk's SpaceX plans to conquer Mars (and the Moon en route). However, the Americans have Boeing, which also has similar plans. Boeing has released a promotional booklet for its favorite super-heavy rocket, the SLS. As it turned out, SLS can (and wants) not only to the moon, but further and more, up to the Interstellar Explorer missions. Friday however.

Why should Americans choose SLS?
Boeing sorted it out because it is the best solution for NASA research missions, commercial markets and national security. Several slides (see file for details).
In terms of carrying capacity and the proposed service (flight speed in the solar system and the volume of the fairing), it is out of competition.
This is the "engine" of the national industry, cannot be compared with upstarts with interests in the top three or five states.
The project brings together the best American "space companies". Cooperation and division of labor allow us to use the best solutions (not the cheapest, of course).
Just look at the possibilities of placing the payload! There is simply nothing to compare with.
And of course only SLS is able to achieve its goal - "the first woman and another man to the moon."

America without commerce is like Ukraine without borscht and bacon. SLS is ready to launch a solar commercial power plant into Earth orbit - a green dream.
And the icing on the cake - launches of heavy satellites for national security - a lot and quickly. China and Russia tremble.
Who will challenge this wonderful project?
