The life of a modern developer at YuMoney

Hello everyone! I am Dima, a beginner developer. In this article I will tell you about my first experience of working in a large IT grocery company.

I came to YuMoney six months ago when I was 19 years old. And now I have gained enough experience to talk about the life of a backend developer in the company.

How I got a job at YuMoney

I originally submitted a response to a junior developer on the job site. I waited two weeks, but I never received an invitation for an interview. Most likely, it did not pass the primary selection for experience and hard skills. Then I decided to write a letter personally to HR.

I found contacts in the corporate account of YuMoney on Habr. Earlier, I read articles from the blog, I was familiar with the company's device, so it was easy to describe how the vacancy hooked me up. Attached to the letter are links to GitHub with educational and pet projects. The face-to-face communication really worked! The message was immediately forwarded to the HR responsible for interviewing the Javists.

Tip: start a dialogue with HR via messengers, social networks or mail. Personal contact increases the chances of getting into the company of your dreams. Do not be afraid to declare yourself if you have decided where you want to work. Sincerity and immersion in the processes will be appreciated by your future colleagues.
