Which referrals work: with bonuses for yourself, for that guy, or for both? Study

Companies often attract new users through referral programs: when the invitee and, sometimes, the invitee, receive bonuses, money or other goodies.

But which program works best: when do you benefit, your friend, or both of you? This was verified by researchers in 2018.

The research was carried out using the site collage.com, where users can make a collage of several photos. When a person has made a collage, he can order it to be printed on mugs, blankets and other products.

While the results may vary by area - albums with cute family photos seem to attract generally outgoing empathic people who enjoy pleasing other people.
