Tell us about your work - what do you do, is your work directly or indirectly related to programming?
I work as a key project manager for automated power supply control systems (ACS) at Schneider Electric. It is a major global electrical equipment vendor. My work with programming is rather indirectly, because I manage programming projects, I sell projects in which programmers work, since no "smart" system can be organized without coding, without the labor of engineers and programmers.

There are different approaches to energy supply systems. In general, what is energy? Energy is not only electricity, it is also water, gas, heat, steam. To generate steam you need water and gas, or water and electricity; to generate hot water you need both water and electricity. And for each household or technological task, you need to choose the best options for the implementation of energy resources. We must not generate excessive heat, we must not create too much warm water, so that we can later drain it down the drain. It is necessary to find that symbiosis between the required amount of energy resources and the amount created. This symbiosis is called energy efficiency. That is, all systems must be energy efficient.
