A tale of how we structured the internal communications of VKontakte

Small companies do not need separate specialists or tools to establish internal communications - all the answers are found, you just have to pull the sleeve of any old-timer. The method works great until the team starts to grow.





The more employees, the more projects. The more projects there are, the more nuances that need to be taken into account when launching and which the whole team should know about.





At some point, the old-timers no longer "take out" such a stream of questions, and the amount of documentation scattered across various services begins to scare. Then we appear in the company - specialists of the internal committee.





Our goal is almost like Google's - to structure all of the company's information and make it so that everyone has access to it. And for this you need to organize clear communication channels and establish an exchange of information within the team.
