It turns out that animals with larger brains yawn longer. Scientists have found this out by studying the behavior of over a hundred different species of birds and mammals. The results of a massive study by biologists Jorg Massen of the University of Utrecht and Andrew Gallup of State University of Utica were published in the scientific journal Communications Biology on May 6, 2021.
