IT solutions for the self-employed: results of the hackathon from Wallet One, the Union of Self-Employed Russia and Russian Hackers

Hello, Habr! Recently, the SMZ Hack 2.0 hackathon ended, the purpose of which was to find the best IT solutions for the self-employed. And now is the time to sum up its results, especially since a lot of interesting ideas have been proposed.



By the way, it was necessary not only to propose an idea, but to create a working prototype of a project that would simplify business for a new category of entrepreneurs.



What tasks did the participants have to solve?



In total, there were 5 areas of work, tracks:

The hackathon promised to be interesting at the start - after all, participants from 55 cities submitted more than 270 applications. The teams selected by the organizers went through 64 hours of coding, 1200+ minutes of communication with mentors. The total number of presentation slides has exceeded 1000.

"



β€œThe growing self-employment market is waiting for new solutions. This is a good time for developers who can win the attention of hundreds of thousands of users with their ideas. Our hackathon is intended to become a springboard for the successful launch of new services. It will contribute to the development of a self-employment regime throughout the country, ”says Dmitry Panov, managing partner of Wallet One and co-chairman of the Union of Self-Employed of Russia.



By the way, last year SMZ Hack collected several hundred applications, 20 teams from 11 cities of Russia took part in the final. They worked on solutions in various areas related to running their own business - from creating CRM systems to chat bots.

The winner of the track "Family World" is The One team.



The essence of the project: "Do It All" - a service for working with the self-employed, which simplifies the work of companies with the self-employed, and the latter - work with clients and other partners. Monetization type: for B2B with a subscription model, SME / SMB segment Stack: Kotlin, Nuxt.js + Vuetify, Docker, PostgreSQL.

The winner of the track "Beautiful Villages" is the DomID team.



The essence of the project: Service DomID, which automates the activities of self-employed in taxes, accounting and legal registration of contracts. DomID is additionally able to stimulate the flow of tourists to villages and townships, along the way developing related regional entertainment areas.

The essence of the project: An aggregator platform that allows self-employed people to organize entertainment and tourist events outside the city, in particular in villages. The platform allows you to collect registration fees, engage your audience, and manage your list of participants.

In the track "Villages 2.0", the "Domashnee" team received an incentive prize.



The essence of the project: "Domashnee" - a marketplace for farm products. For the buyer, a platform is provided with a convenient service and with selected sellers according to obvious criteria. For a farm - a distribution channel for products, delivery logistics and all the benefits of self-employment. The farmer will have a legal and verified income, thanks to which he will be able to take out a loan or participate in grants.

Track Winner Mobile Customer - P.Resolved Team.



The essence of the project: A cross-platform application for customers of the Nymix platform with an emphasis on exceptional user experience. The user has all the necessary functionality to work with self-employed in his smartphone.

The essence of the project: "SMART MARKET" is a personal assistant for self-employed, helping to sell and place handmade goods in 2 clicks, receive receipts and communicate with clients. And for buyers who want to buy goods here and now, this is a smart product catalog. The service allows you to select any product presented by self-employed, and keep track of sales / purchases. In addition, the functionality of the service allows you to send a check, confirm the purchase operation, in a couple of clicks, thanks to the integrated payment service Wallet One. The service is presented in the form of a convenient mobile application. It is also an easy-to-use personal account for self-employed, and for buyers the convenience of making a purchase in a couple of clicks. The application makes it possible to embed a personal account as an SDK for partner stores.

The winners are invited to Moscow to present their finalized projects in front of the top Wallet One and the Federal Tax Service of Russia, at which the owner of the super-final fee will be determined. The Super Final will take place at the end of May 2021. The results will be assessed by specialists from the Federal Tax Service. The winning team will receive another 250 thousand rubles and the opportunity to sign an investment contract with one of the competition partners.



In addition, the winners will also receive invitations to the EMERGE conference.
