Linear T5 lamps in everyday life - backward technologies of the past or ...?

If we figured out the MGL (DRI) and their use at home in the previous articles 1 2 3 , it is time to understand whether it is relevant to use linear lamps at home in 2021.

I do not want to touch on the topic of "correct" (c) ad, albeit not a complete, continuous spectrum of LEDs - this is a rather extensive topic, worthy of a separate article.

How it all began

Probably everyone remembers the T12 linear lamps and the direct replacement for the updated t8 standard.

Often these lamps were connected to EOL lamps when the EOL lamps came on, often this effect was used in the scenery for horror films :)

The main problem of the unpopularity of T5 linear lamps is the inability to reduce the cost of circuitry to $ 1, it is better not to remember about trying with "energy saving" - there, for the sake of economy, of course, everything was sacrificed, including common sense :)

LED lighting follows the same path, PF (cosf) 0.5 becomes the "norm", durability has been replaced by a guarantee, according to which you can change the lamp (lamp) at least every month - apparently this is cheaper for the manufacturer.
