The first 5 grams of oxygen on Mars: the MOXIE installation on the Perseverance rover is working

A successful experiment to obtain oxygen from the atmosphere of Mars was reported by NASA on April 21. The test itself took place on April 20 on the 60th day after the landing of the Perseverance rover. The results are still modest - 5 grams of oxygen was obtained, which should be enough for about 10 minutes of the astronaut's breathing.
