Hello everyone! I have been reading Habr for a long time and my hands were itching to write something too. It so happened that the reason only appeared when I started looking for a new job. I was inspired to this article by a fascinating story about interviews in Yandex . “Hmm, but I also have something to tell” - I thought and got fired up with the idea to describe my story about the interviews passed.
A small introduction - I am a software architect and since February I have been slowly looking for a new job. During these couple of months I passed about 20 interviews and gained a little experience that I would like to share. I thought for a long time whether it was worth mentioning in this article the names of companies that were especially "distinguished" and came to the conclusion that it is better to voice them. I hope the representatives of these companies will not take my feedback as an attempt to tarnish them. I would like this to be perceived as constructive criticism that will help them understand what is wrong with the existing hiring processes and correct mistakes.
