Greetings to my regular readers and those who came here for the first time.
As my blog on Habré continues to acquire a recognizable shape and a readership, I am thinking about what features of it I would like to keep, and what unites my most successful articles - agree, discussions of tens and hundreds of comments, not limited to banal holivaras, cannot but inspire.
At the moment, it seems to me that the reader wants not only to learn about the present, but also to look into the future. That is, I like to make reasonable extrapolations based on the facts that I take as the basis of the article.
This is why I couldn't get past the infographic found here . David Alayon's article was written in February 2018 and is titled “Things to come. A timeline of future technology ”. The author has made a beautiful selection of technologies that can be implemented over the next thirty years, while doing it exactly as I described above: by reasonably extrapolating the present into the future. It would not be enough to simply copy and translate this chronology; in addition, the author's picture came out very long. Therefore, I will break it down into separate illustrations, characterize each of the technologies mentioned, and also note which of the topics of this chronology I plan to write articles on in my hubblog.
2019. Eye-controlled technology
Such technologies are already beginning to be implemented in practice. Probably referring to the visual control feature that appeared in 2018 in the iPhone XS Max (operating system iOS 12). For her, the Hawkeye browser was created , which responds to the movement of the user's eyes. However, even in the advertising publication, this technology is described as “tricky to use”, since many important operations still need to be done by hand - for example, entering passwords and e-mail addresses.
