I learned a new word for myself - "proctoring". Naturally, as a curious person, immediately after the conversation, he climbed to see what kind of miracle Yudo is.
So, for those who are too lazy to google: proctoring is monitoring the examinee to prevent cheating. By the way, it should be said that proctoring is also used for regular exams. When the professor does not have the desire and opportunity to spend time on the control of cheating, and he invites to the exam, either a graduate student, whom he trusts, or an employee of the department. It turns out that in Western universities there is such a profession as proctor - this is a specially trained person who is trained to make sure that the examinees cannot take advantage of any advantage that is not required by the conditions of the exam.
