Two extremes of a leader

Team leads can be divided into two large groups: technical and communication professionals. The former occupy a leadership position because they are the most powerful programmers. The latter are good at finding a common language with all team members, and with an "inadequate" customer, and with a "strange" leadership. Is it possible to make friends with these roles in one person?





At the Saint TeamLead conference, Alexander Orlov, an expert in the field of training managers in IT, managing partner of the Stratoplan School of Managers, spoke about what pushes managers to different poles of management. He also shared ways to find a working balance and learn how to change as a team lead.





Why does it bomb at work?

Alexander Orlov conducted an interesting survey to find out what situations at work cause negative emotions. It turned out that people are being bombed for completely different reasons. Someone is furious that a colleague talks arrogantly. And someone is annoyed that they try to explain to him for a long time what he already understood. It is interesting that if a person cannot withstand the flow of unnecessary explanations and interrupts, he then has new emotions: fatigue and shame. Bombs and those who are interrupted without hearing.
