The Ukrainian profile resource DOU.UA has published data , according to which there are 212,547 sole proprietors in Ukraine who work in the IT field. Over the past year, their number has increased by 29,111 people, or 16%. The growth rates have dropped slightly when compared with 2018-2020, when the number of sole proprietors in Ukrainian IT increased by 20-22% annually.
2020 was not very successful for Ukrainian sole proprietors: their total number in Ukraine decreased by 2%. (For more information on the areas in which the number of individual entrepreneurs has decreased over the year, see the Opendatadot article ).
