RPA (Robotic Process Automation) now in a sense resembles the good old miniature of Revva: “Kiiiborgi. They have filled the entire planet! ”. RPA is talked about more and more often, articles and videos appear that tell about the unprecedented growth of this segment and the multimillion-dollar savings of those who have already implemented RPA in their own countries. It’s not that it didn’t exist before, but now it’s too much.
There are significantly fewer reviews of real users. This is not to say that RPA is bad. It is just a fact that prompted me to write this article and share my thoughts.
Some time ago, faced with certain tasks, I chose a tool to solve them and turned my attention to RPA. After breaking through a million advertising articles and enthusiastic videos from resellers, testing almost everything available in trial / free versions, I settled on Automation Anywhere, which suited the requirements well. Later, by the way, I discovered that our company has a whole department that deals with automation using Blue Prism.
