7 segment indicator
The 7-segment indicator is one of the most popular and simple types of displaying Arabic numerals and other symbols. Patented back in 1910 by Frank Wood , it remains in demand to this day.
Since LEDs are most often used in such indicators, and as you know they have a cathode and an anode, therefore, the displays themselves are divided into 2 subtypes: with a common cathode and with a common anode. The differences are minimal, but sometimes there are cases when there is one more priority option.

The industrial method is the manufacture of high-grade silicon integrated circuits. This method is not the fastest, but it allows for mass production. BUT it is worth noting that similar microcircuits have been produced for a long time, and this will not be very advisable.
Epilogue
In the end, I would like to note that this decoder is not a bad practical job for training the creation of logic circuits and for understanding how simple electronic devices are arranged. Ben Eater was the inspiration behind this study.
