Scheme and principle of operation
Today we will assemble the ZVS generator so beloved by X-ray builders and high-voltage engineers, connect the line generator and release beautiful hot arcs. In fact, the circuit is a powerful push-pull resonant high-efficiency oscillator, assembled on two MOSFETs according to the push-pull topology (this is when the transistors take turns pumping their half of the primary winding). The circuit is very similar to the Royer generator with field workers, but different, and moreover, for the better. So, consider the scheme:

After sealing all the components, we proceed to the manufacture of the transformer: on any Soviet line writer, we wind 5 + 5 turns of the mounting wire in one direction, the secondary will be a high-voltage winding. Well, now a photo of a beautiful arc obtained with a 19 volt power supply.
