As a reminder,  burnout is part of the stress response; a state into which prolonged stress of medium and even low intensity leads . Stress is either imperceptible, displaced outside of attention, or we endure it for some reason, but the result is the same: in the brain the reaction to stimuli breaks down, and the system of motivation / reward. 





In my case, stress accumulated over the years and in layers, but was pushed into the pantry of the subconscious. I discovered this only when I surrendered to the doctors, and we began to dig from symptoms to the root cause, simultaneously soldering me with pills in the hospital.





But first things first.





Origins and background

In hindsight, from the height of my experience, and after studying a ton of materials on the topics of stress, burnout, learned helplessness, I can see my path in a downward spiral. With all the cycles, ups and downs. 





I'll start with my childhood, in which a couple of weak bricks were laid in the foundation of my personality, in the form of limiting attitudes (beliefs, stereotypes).





You have to be right and comfortable in order to earn love.





You need to do everything perfectly, otherwise the result will not be counted (by someone significant).





There were others, but it was with these that I caused the most damage to myself and my life. They automatically put the victim in the position, which increases the likelihood of falling into bad situations associated with burnout, violence, depression.
