Roadmaps define directions, goals and requirements. More importantly, a roadmap reflects an expectation of contingencies and innovations that can come from outside, rather than come from an aging architecture or a limited set of implementation options.
The map is not itself a dynamically changing terrain, so every roadmap will become obsolete over time. This was the case with BAT Roadmap 1.0 , published on June 18, 2017, shortly after the launch of our Basic Attention Token. The BAT Roadmap version 2.0 offered to your attention is designed for the next year and up to 18 months ahead.
