Reviving the Legend - Sharp-4 Final

Hi everyone! Thank you all very much for your interest in my story! Today I will show the results of work on the camera and pictures from the first photographic film.

Give me green!

Earlier I brought up the camera mechanisms and prepared the body for painting . The colors are selected, it remains to paint and paste over with leather, and then somehow assemble

The painting master was found quickly. Sometimes you wonder what interesting things people do: painting scale models and small car parts. True, almost half a year has passed from conversations to business, but where is the hurry? It turned out that it was enough to name the RAL code and they would immediately understand you (but it still took half a year ...).

It turned out as I wanted, although I doubted for a long time: I picked the color through the monitor screen, there were no samples (many will understand my pain ..)

Here's a green one. I tried to preserve the color in the photo as much as possible.

And then a little luck: when telling his idea, the master recommended a supplier of leather and glue. Apparently, the seeker will always find :)

With such a canvas, I think it will be enough for 10-20 cameras!

The first film chosen was ILFORD PAN 100, a black and white film that would ideally capture the spirit of that time.

I was very pleased with the result. The camera worked in conjunction with the Leningrad exposure meter.

All frames are in focus, the shutter works fine. True, in the cold, she began to slow down a little, but this technique can be forgiven.

What's next?

I don't think I will stop there. There are a lot of ideas and pieces of iron in my head, ranging from a similar reconstruction of Kiev from the 50s to the manufacture of a high-aperture lens based on a 35KP 120 / 1.8 cinema projection lens.

Until next time! You are the best readers I have ever written for!
