How we are bred with a (free) paid subscription

We are talking about a very famous and respected site - ShutterStock, one of the most popular photo stocks in the world. 360 million images in the database! I signed up for a " free " trial subscription there, and then fought with them for a refund of money debited from my card without asking. Careful, there are a lot of screenshots under the cut!

TL; DR>

At first, the amount was withdrawn from my card for a month of subscription, then they threatened with a fine for canceling the subscription - I had to push to get everything back.
