A couple of weeks ago I bought a UV LED flashlight from a kiosk to give a friend for his birthday. When I tested it for performance, I suddenly discovered that my fingernails were glowing. It is not the first year that I have been playing with "black light", and therefore I can imagine what should glow and what should not - nails that are not affected by the disease are not included in the list of glowing ones.
Examination of the other hand and feet showed that fresh halves of nails were glowing on all twenty fingers. It was beautiful enough, but very unusual.
