To begin with, I will briefly repeat the main theses of the previous article .
Burnout is a breakdown of the energy recovery system under conditions of prolonged stress . The body's defensive response to ongoing stress. It doesn't matter if this stress is caused by internal factors or external ones. Changes in work, family life, even the political situation in the country can cause such ongoing stress in a person (prolonged itching anxiety is also stress), which, in turn, will cause a cascading breakdown of a number of systems in the brain associated with motivation, reward, and restoration of thought-fuel.
When discussing the problem of burnout, it is easier to give examples from the professional sphere, but this does not mean that the problem does not extend to other areas of life, or cannot be caused by things happening in these areas.
For example, the birth of a child often leads to a radical restructuring of the sleep and rest patterns of both parents, which can lead to burnout of both the one who goes to work and the one who stays at home and cares for the newborn. Because the essence here is the same: the body (brain) loses the ability to recover after exercise -> a number of protective reactions and special effects from overload are triggered -> an ass comes.
The "Make everything as it was" button does not exist. Recovery from burnout can take months or even years, depending on at what stage you decide to tackle this issue, as well as on the individual characteristics of the meat suit and the psyche of a particular person. After the first conscious recovery, with each new burnout, it becomes easier to catch it in a safe phase and recover. This is a trainable skill.
In the later stages, with severe apathy and depressive states, when he is no longer an assistant to himself, it is necessary to seek qualified medical help . Mental health is just as important as physical health, both have a strong influence on each other. The longer you pull, the worse the consequences, just like with teeth. They can even help in the district clinic. Free medicine is not as bad as disgruntled citizens write about it.
Now we will continue to understand the stages of burnout, what happens at each stage, and how to cope with them.
I draw your attention to the fact that I will generalize. Not everyone is the same. But generalized and average among relatively initially mentally healthy people - like this.

In the next article I will tell my story of burnout, what I learned along the way, and what I am doing now to extract growth from burnout, not hospitalization.
