Help other candidates prepare for an interview in Yandex
Part 1. Submission of application and J.Contest
After completing a dozen courses on steppe, I realized that I wanted to apply this experience somewhere and decided to apply for an internship at Yandex for the position of an intern in the direction of "Data Analyst". I went to the site , filled out a questionnaire, an hour later I received a link to a test task in Yandex Contest. I saw that 6 hours were given to solve problems and decided to allocate Saturday morning for the test.

The test was not very difficult, there were 6 problems. 2 of them on mathematical statistics (tasks A and B), 2 standard tasks in Python (C and D), 1 task for basic knowledge of the Pandas library (E) and a task for logic and analytical thinking. I completed the last two tasks in half an hour , with the first task on the matstat in another 10 minutes, the second task took 20 minutes, and there are as many as 5 hours left for 2 tasks in python. I spent 30 minutes on each one, but in one task it did not pass several tests (most likely, the condition was interpreted incorrectly by me), and in the other it gave out a memory limit. As a result, it didn't work out to optimize the code and complete the tasks. Once again I checked the 4 past problems and sent the solutions. The next day I receive a letter of happiness from the recruiter that they are ready to conduct a technical interview with me and offered to choose the time,also warned that it will take about an hour.
