On March 5, 2021, the asteroid Apophis and our Earth were separated by about 17 million km. This is the largest convergence in the last 8 years of observation. Considering that this distance is about 44 times greater than between the centers of the Earth and the Moon, this event cannot be called dangerous even theoretically. But can anything change in the coming years?
