On March 5, 2021, the asteroid Apophis and our Earth were separated by about 17 million km. This is the largest convergence in the last 8 years of observation. Considering that this distance is about 44 times greater than between the centers of the Earth and the Moon, this event cannot be called dangerous even theoretically.
