Greetings, Terrarians! Terraria is back in Stadia?

The creators of Terraria made up with Google and went back to developing a game for Stadia, Google's cloud-based game streaming service.

In early February 2021, it became known that Re-Logic , a development studio and publisher of computer games, canceled the development of Terraria for Google Stadia. Andrew Spinks , co-creator of the game and founder of Re-Logic, announced this on Twitter . Everyone probably already knows about the reason for this decision. Google has banned Spinks' account: he has lost access to his Gmail and Google Play accounts since about mid-January.

To the delight of all fans of the game and Stadia, both sides went to the world, and at the end of last week Re-Logic announced that the creation of the Terraria port for Stadia was re-launched.

In a blog post on the game's official website, the studio posted an appeal to fans: "After a month of persistent requests and reminders (and with huge support from our fans), Google finally contacted us and were able to provide transparency around this situation and regain access to all our accounts." ...

Google representatives have also confirmed this information.

As of now, Re-Logic has yet to announce exactly when Terraria will launch on Google Stadia, but the game's return to development is great news!

Now Google is especially important not to quarrel with studios and be very attentive to game developers, because the company has completely abandoned the development of its own exclusive games for the Stadia service. From Bloomberg it became known that Google has already spent tens of millions of dollars on porting popular games to Stadia.
