A year ago, Evgeny Sporykhin ran an SMM agency and attracted developers to projects. I got carried away with zerocoding after the first stream of our intensive Airtable Express. Now Zhenya is one of the best Bubble experts, runs the NoCode Hero studio and teaches at the Zerocoder University. He spoke about his new case - a website builder for restaurateurs on Bubble.

How did I come up with the idea

I watched cafes, restaurants and pastry chefs on Instagram and noticed that they take orders via direct, uploading dishes directly to the feed. This is inconvenient: orders are lost in messages, you need to respond quickly - it's easy to miss a sale. It is even harder to keep high-quality statistics: you have to find orders among all messages and manually transfer them to tables. Payment can be accepted only in gray - on the card.

Then I decided to naserocode my project and test the hypothesis - how interesting is this market and whether there is money in it.

For the service, I identified the following requirements:

It should be easy for restaurateurs to use it.
Convenient admin panel with basic functions: statistics on orders, average bill, customers.
Integration with payment services and the ability to "remember" customers.
Adaptation for mobile - both restaurateurs and clients most often went to Instagram from their phones.

What's under the hood

Collected everything on Bubble - "mobile" Adalo and Glide would not pull complex business logic.

The web application allows restaurateurs to upload dishes to the service in a couple of clicks. You can also create a neat website with delivery, shopping cart, order form. It will be easy to register on it and it will be easy to get statistics from it. A link to the site is published on Instagram - clients from posts and stories are taken there.
