Today we will go to the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg and look from all sides at the Rostelecom-DPC data center, which was launched in December 2020. The new data center was built "from scratch" near the buildings of the LOMO plant at the address: st. Zhukova, 43 (not to be confused with Marshal Zhukov Avenue!).
Five years ago, there was an abandoned construction of a fuel oil storage facility (we love to build on the territory of old factories). Now on the St. Petersburg site, customers have already rented the first racks and started working cloud services DataLine.

Total capacity: 792 racks.
4 computer rooms, up to 198 racks each.
Design capacity: 7 400 kW.
Tier III compliant.
From the history
A promising territory in St. Petersburg was noticed back in 2016. Once upon a time they wanted to build a fuel oil storage for a CHP plant here, but in the late 1980s, construction was abandoned, and the site remained unclaimed.
But filmmakers were interested in this place. There was water in huge tanks, they were used for underwater filming for St. Petersburg films.
Dismantling began here in 2018.
