I here decided to share my conclusions regarding online training courses.
About a couple of years ago, I decided to change my activity. And, since from school I liked mathematics, computer science and so on, I decided to go to the developers. Then I did not understand what it was, I had only rough ideas. But I firmly decided that I would do something related to "site building".
I found a couple of free layout courses on the Internet and decided to study them. But since I had a lot of questions, and I received answers to them for a very, very long time and from outsiders, so I decided to take a paid course. The paid course ended sadly. It turned out to be the so-called marathon. And I’ll say right away - avoid marathons. I will write about them later.
So I started looking for paid courses. Well, how to search - I scored in Google and compared programs and prices. In the end, I found what I needed and inexpensively. And, to be honest, the amount of information that is on the course made it easy to understand the essence of the profession of a layout designer, as well as outline a detailed plan for further development to a developer. Already now, passing this course, I understood what I want and how to achieve it.
In addition to layout, I acquired courses on PHP, Python, and the basics of programming in general. But I did not take these courses for two reasons. First, I didn't fully understand what I wanted. Second, the courses were so intricate, although it is said that they are for those who do not fumble at all, but even for those who fumble a little, they will not help. As a result, the money for them was returned to me in full and without problems.
And these are the conclusions I came to as a result of my ordeals. My vision of paid and free courses fit into the pros and cons. Everything is more or less painted there.
