As space research develops and the situation on Earth changes, it becomes obvious both the need and the possibility of people relocating to other space bodies. To date, scientists have already compiled a list of contenders for an early colonization, but none of these planets or satellites is yet ready to accept earthlings on a permanent basis.
SpaceX's grandiose plan , drawn up in 2016, promised to bring the first humans to Mars in 2024, and we can already say that the company's real progress is far behind it. As for NASA, their immediate plans include only the exploration of the Moon - in particular, the creation of a lunar station. As for domestic cosmonautics, in the light of all the failures of recent years, Roskosmos finally abandoned any claims to Mars, limiting itself to a promise to land people on the Moon in 2030.
