How do disposable e-cigarettes work?

In the past year, disposable e-cigarettes have become very popular again. As a non-smoker, I cannot assess their advantages over ordinary cigarettes, I can only assume that the matter is, perhaps, in the ratio of price and quality, convenience and the prospect of "long-term" use. But by chance a completely used cigarette came to my desk and I wondered what was inside it, namely what was used as an energy source and how the vaporizer was activated.

Most cigarettes are quite easy to disassemble: the body consists of two or three halves, inserted into each other and held by friction. No glue or soldering is used. We take a knife, pliers or any other convenient tool, pry off the lower part and take it out.

All cigarettes are arranged in approximately the same way: a battery, a microphone, a control chip with indication and a material impregnated with an active substance:

Due to the nature of the device, the user does not even think about it and throws away the cigarette with normal household waste, although in many countries, lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of properly by law.

I believe that the regulatory authorities should be interested in the problem, nevertheless, we all continue to live here, and throwing hazardous and poisonous waste into landfills once again is not the best idea.

We do not smoke and we do not advise you!
