In this article I would like to analyze the main problems of youth science in Russia. I have highlighted the following:
weak connectivity of the higher education system with a low level of flexibility
lack of science as such in provincial universities
poor technical equipment
problematic and insufficient funding
predominance of government funding
surplus of โresearchersโ, rigidity of thinking of professors and low quality of publications
weak feedback
weak cultural support for domestic science and the inability of the existing education system to create high-quality projects.
Under the cut, I tried to present some facts on Russian youth science. I will compare on my own experience of completing two postgraduate courses in Russia and in Germany, on the experience of my colleagues and acquaintances.

Instead of a conclusion
I would really like to know what can be done with this knowledge. It can be seen that the problem cannot be fixed with a simple injection of money. Or maybe everything in Russian youth science is not bad at all? What exactly needs to be done to improve the situation in science?
