This post was born as a commentary on this post about life in Germany. I liked the author's critical view of many things and community comments. However, over time, my planned commentary grew so much that I decided to create a separate article with my own vision of the pros and cons of living in Germany. Although this is not entirely correct: Germany is very different. Not only the lands differ, but also the regions within them and even the cities. Therefore, I do not want to extrapolate my experience to the whole of Germany, but I will describe the realities of living in the city of Nuremberg.

This is the impression I and my family have after a year of living in Nuremberg, as well as visiting the surrounding villages of Fürth, Erlangen and Schwabach. Probably someone else had a different experience. However, I wrote this opus so that those who are going to come here with rose-colored glasses will see the other side of the coin. As you can see, I am not concerned about the “elitism of IT” in Belarus and the “loss” of this status in Germany. I am worried about others - completely mundane everyday things that really cause inconvenience or, on the contrary, fill me with joy. I wish everyone to taste for themselves and decide what they like and what not!
Bonus: a photo of that very fountain "Marriage Carousel".
