A simple way to relocate to Italy: the experience of an engineer from Russia

Several years ago, engineer and BIM specialist Sergey Kuleshov read a post in the  LiveJournal of programmer Andrey Korinsky about how he emigrated to Italy. This post inspired Sergei to move - and now he has been living and working in this beautiful country in southern Europe for six years.

Sergey will tell you the easiest way to get a residence permit in Italy, where a technician can look for a job, about living conditions, and what he sees as his advantage over local specialists. Who knows, maybe our article will also help someone decide to move.

How it all started

The idea of moving to Italy did not arise by chance. My wife and I have learned to travel around Europe as "savages." In 2012, the euro cost an average of 40 rubles, cheap air tickets and inexpensive hotels were in abundance. We started from the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, then went to Spain and Italy. I especially liked Italy - they began to go there every year.
