There are a lot of rumors about working in startups. Among them are more common: “you will not be paid on time”, “you will work around the clock”, “you have to do what is not your responsibility”, “the company may go bankrupt”. But it is worth noting that each of these statements is somewhat true.
However, these are just rumors and do not tell the whole story. Yes, there is some truth in them, but if you dive into the topic a little deeper, you will notice not only the disadvantages, but also the advantages. The company doesn't have to have problems, just because it is new and small. To be fair, even large corporations have their drawbacks (and often they are exactly the same as those of startups). Likewise, you may have unloved colleagues or have to work day and night.
So, startup problems are not unique. These are the problems that all companies face. Just on a different scale.
Wherever you decide to work - if the place suits you and is comfortable for you - you will have a good time. If the place is not for you, this does not mean that the company is bad. You just don't like it. (Although it's worth noting that there are objectively bad employers as well).
How to choose a good place for yourself? We will talk about this in this article.

Talking to employees can be a great start to getting to know the company as a whole.
Takeaway: As startups (especially tech startups) become more and more popular, jobs in such companies are in great demand. But it's worth remembering that working in a startup can be both extremely exciting and very tiring. The main thing is to take the time and find a place that will definitely suit you.
