It took me 5 years and a million rubles to combine these concepts.

I launched the production of Pan Arra Lazur flutes and continue to develop it to the present (2021), while I am a C ++ developer, mainly in the field of 3d modeling for CAD / CAD (computer-aided design systems) and geometric kernels.

I managed to achieve some success in this matter and in this article I would like to share them, as well as the results of the experiments done.

About Panflute

What is Pan's flute? This is a musical wind instrument. It is a set of tubes of various lengths fastened together. The musician blows on the cut (labium) on one side, and on the other, the tubes are plugged. The resulting internal volume of the tube (play channel) determines its note.

High-quality sound is provided by well-known technical aspects [12], for example:

The diameters of the tubes change logarithmically, gradually from larger to smaller. This gives a smooth tone change over the entire sound range.
The inner surfaces of the tubes should be smooth, polished in a “mirror”. This gives ease of sound production and "purity" of sound.
The distance between the game channels should be minimal. This gives a minimum tool width and, as a result, increases the maximum playing speed.
