After reading a post about another extension that groups a hundred of tabs and not finding not only a solution to my user scenario, but also a clear description of the author's one, I once again wondered: why does not there still exist an ideal tab grouper / closure? Why doesn't using bookmarks solve the problem? I want to express my view on the problem and listen to the opinions of the hackers.
Disclaimer: I'm not a designer or a usability specialist, but something tells me that it is a person of this specialty who should deal with the problem of a bunch of tabs.

there is no analogue of the "add all tabs to bookmarks" button - you will have to select the entire desired range of tabs and then add them to the group;
no hotkeys. A new tab by Ctrl + T will always open outside the group. You can right-click on a group and select "new tab in group", but this is additional time to aim;
the presentation of the tabs has remained visually one-dimensional;
a two-level hierarchy may not be enough;
even when minimized, the group takes up space on the tab bar.
Let the holywar begin!
Let's fantasize together on the topic: how to effectively manage tabs? I invite you to comment!
