Tariff "100k +", or how to upset a spammer

This is not the first time I come across that not all Habr readers are able to properly fight spam. And I'm not talking about SpamAssasin, "Ktozvonil" and other applications for filtering information garbage, but about a simple, but very delivery to all parties of the process, filing a complaint with the FAS.

Let me tell you how, literally in 15 minutes, without leaving your beloved computer, connect a spammer with an overwhelming tariff of the "Administrative" line: "Administrative 100k", "Administrative 150k" and up to "Administrative 500k" - how lucky.

So, you get an SMS, call or email with all this "Interest rates reduced", "Sale! Discounts up to 146% "," You have approved a micro-loan on macro conditions ", ignite righteous anger, mark" this is spam ", delete - all this is correct, but already included in the" CTR "of spammers and there is little sense from this: spam both continues to bring down.

But none of the spammers put a fine from the Federal Antimonopoly Service from 100 to 500 thousand rubles into the “marketing budget”. 100 sput. for every message sent to every recipient who complains, for a second! The algorithm of actions is as follows ...

1. No, do not grab the fountain pen right away keyboard, first assess the perspectives. The complaint will be handled by FAS Russia, not Interpol, so letters from Nigerian princes or overseas benefactors of all men with short belongings are not suitable here. Fortunately, today we are often harassed with spam by quite local and pretending to be respectable companies - Sberbank, Yandex and others, whose ends will not take long to find.

2. No, still don’t grab the keyboard, first strain your memory: you certainly didn’t give consent to this sender to receive "promotional materials"? Maybe they signed a contract with him, and then in small print: agree? Definitely not? There is no need to strain the FAS with empty work, this will not be good for anyone.

3.Finally, you can grab the keyboard. Write a statement in free form, where you state the circumstances of the incident: on such and such a date at such and such time, such and such an advertising message was received to such and such a number / address; please take action and how long? !

5. Wrap the application and attachments to it in a common PDF (this is not necessary, it’s just more convenient), attach an audio file (if any) wrapped in ZIP (since FAS accepts only PDF and ZIP) and send it to your local OFAS either through the agency's website , or through the "Gosuslugi" portal (I recommend the second option).

6.Within a couple of days, you should receive a notification about the acceptance of the application for work to the contact email address. Within a month from this date - the result of its consideration or notification of the extension of the consideration for another month. In any case, you must be informed of the final decision. If something was not reported in the set of submitted documents, they must send a proposal to report.

In my experience, the final decision can be made up to six months, but sooner or later it is made. Taking this opportunity, I convey my regards to Sber, VTB24, Ozon, Beeline and other spammers who have become impoverished by my efforts by 100 or more spam, and have forgotten since then how to send me their spam.
