Kanzi celebrated its 40th birthday on October 28, 2020 . This is the most famous representative of the bonobos - pygmy chimpanzees, wild populations of which live in Equatorial Africa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Kanzi is known as the first representative of his species (and apes in principle), independently mastered language communication.
